This is a great time to join our small and friendly Research and Impact Team as Research and Impact Manager   This is a stimulating role for an experienced individual who values impact and enjoys evaluation and research and would like to apply their knowledge and experience to the charity sector. We are looking for a dynamic thinker, who can apply social research methods and who will use their initiative to work in a diverse environment supporting multiple projects within UK Youth and the wider youth sector.     About UK Youth:   Working across the country for over a century, UK Youth is a leading charity, committed to providing access to appropriate, high quality services and support in every community ensuring young people are empowered to build bright futures, regardless of their background or circumstances.   Young people with complex needs and those from disadvantaged backgrounds are being hardest hit by rising inequality and cuts to local services. We build capacity, unlock funding and a develop a sense of connection with those young people and the youth workers who support them.     About the role: UK Youth’s Research and Impact Team aims to be recognised for the production of robust and insightful evidence and analysis on how the youth sector delivers positive outcomes for disadvantaged young people. We do this by demonstrating and improving the impact of our work with our membership directly, as well as using wider evidence to understand policy issues effecting young people today.   Reporting to the Head of Research and Impact this role will be responsible for enabling our organisation to demonstrate the impact of our activity with youth organisations and young people.   This will include support with setting the strategy for impact, developing evaluations for a diverse range of projects, measuring outcomes and analyzing impact.    This is an exciting time to join our team in a role that offers you the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people.    Why work at UK Youth?   We are a value-based, passionate and committed organisation offering a friendly working environment with lots of opportunities for professional development and socialising with colleagues through activities such as office yoga, lunch and learn sessions and potluck lunches; as well as optional out of work social events such as bowling, tennis and baking.   This role will be located at our Head Office in Westminster.
