We are currently looking to expand our team of dedicated Support Workers in Chelmsley Wood, where you will be supporting people who have a learning disability. We have a part time, permanent position available offering 16 hours per week.

In our service everyone has their own requirements, but the type of support you will provide would be things such as shopping, cooking, eating out, laundry, personal care, cleaning, finances, medication administration. You would also be supporting the individuals with accessing their community for leisure and recreation, and to maintain relationships with people who are important to them. Some hobbies and interests include - going to the theatre, cinema, shopping, playing bingo, and going to the disco.

As a Support Worker, flexibility is key for both yourself and for the service. As you may be required to work a variety of different shifts, including mornings, starting at 7.15am, through to the evenings where you'll be finishing at 9.30pm. The role will include alternate weekend shifts too. There are no sleeps and no Waking Nights!
