We are expanding our team and looking to take on 4 New Project Managers to join our Utilities division, working with us on the Waste Water Service Contract. This is an exciting time to join an established team as we look to move into the new AMP cycle and continue to build upon the success we have had in delivering this workstream for over 10 years.

As the project manager you will play a key role in delivering great service to our client Severn Trent, managing the 24/7 reactive sewer services contract. This role will form part of the Waste Water Management Team and you will be responsible for managing the daily schedules of work within one of the 9 counties across the network.

You will be responsible for managing a team of supervisors and our supply chain partners, ensuring safety, the environment and customers are at the heart of what we do.



What will this role involve?

We work with a fast paced environment so you will need strong operational experience to deliver the received schedule of work to the agreed service levels.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Work collaboratively with our client, Severn Trent and supply chain partners to deliver operational performance to agreed KPI's including cost, time, quality, safety targets and customer service
  • Coach and develop your teams to embed a Safety culture, ensuring that this is at the heart of everything we do and aligns to Amey's Zero Code and Values
  • Work with your teams, support functions and Supply Chain partners to ensure our customers are at the heart of the services we provide and take ownership for resolving customer complaints in a professional and timely manner



What are we looking for?

  • Experienced driven and self-motivated operational delivery manager
  • Experience will have been gained ideally within the Utilities/Construction sector
  • IOSH safety certificate or similar
  • Customer centric focused and understands the impact that operational delivery has to the end user
  • Able to coach and drive a performance management culture within your team including our supply chain.
  • Must be able to drive and have a current, valid driving licence
