Our client is looking for a positive and helpful part time Customer Services Representative to join their team based in Canary Wharf.
Our client is a not-for-profit, public interest organisation established to develop a single set of high-quality, understandable, enforceable and globally accepted accounting standards.
Position: Customer Services Representative
Location: Canary Wharf, London
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week (10am-2pm, Mon-Fri)
Salary: £12,000 to £13,000 pro-rata (depending on experience), plus generous benefits

About the role:
The role of Customer Services Representative means that you will act as the first point of contact for customers when they enquire about products or services. Your main responsibility will be to deal with a range of in-bound enquiries from a global customer base, mainly by email and phone. The team deals with an average of 150 queries per week, which also entails processing orders, payments and arranging the despatch of orders.
About you:
To be successful in the role of Customer Service Representative you will have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy helping to make the lives of others easier. You must be willing to learn and be able to work flexibly and independently and as part of a team.
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Good spoken and written English communication skills and the ability to relay information accurately.
- Ability to listen to others, follow instructions and respond positively to constructive feedback
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work / time effectively and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to use own initiative and to work / make decisions autonomously
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) would be highly advantageous
Although not essential, previous experience in a Customer Service focused role would be highly advantageous, although full training will be provided. Additional language skills would also be beneficial.
