We have an exciting opportunity for a process driven, organised professional to join a leading stroke charity, supporting fundraisers to package their work in exciting, attractive ways that will appeal to donors.

Position: Fundraising and Bids Development Manager (Internal Job Title - Case Creation Manager)

Location: London (office based or homebased)

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £34,000 per annum (national) and £37,299 per annum (including inner London weighting)

Contract: Fixed term for 18 months with the possibility of being made permanent

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy & Partnerships, the Fundraising and Bids Development Manager will:

 

  • Support the generation of income by managing the process of gathering, distilling and packaging information from across directorates so that it is appealing to various fundraising audiences.
  • Liaise between the fundraising and direct services teams and gaining early sight of future plans that may interest prospective donors.

 

About You

You will be a process driven with an eye for detail with experience of managing large quantities of information, sourcing collateral and identifying relevant opportunities.

You will:

 

  • Be able to extract and interpret key organisation information whilst developing and maintaining relevant collateral to support the fundraising team.
  • Be financially literate
  • Be adept at forging relationships both internally and externally

 

The role will suit a skilled writer who can distil key messages from a variety of information sources. You will have sector experience and may come from a fundraising, bid writing/management, major donor or communication background.
