Role Overview

Amey are proud to provide services under the United States Visiting Forces (USVF) Defence Infrastructure Organisation contract across the UK. An exciting opportunity exists for a Commercial Administrator to join our team based out of RAF Wyton. In this pivotal role you will provide support to our Commercial team on all matters related to service delivery, and commercial expectations of the business. Particular technical responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Client
  • Processing job packs
    • Including the input and updating of jobs on the Work Manager system
  • Dealing with invoices including handling any queries from internal or external stakeholders
  • Managing payments to subcontractors and check costs against fixed price contractual agreements
  • Liaising with the supply chain
  • Preparing monthly reports to the business as required



What are we looking for?

This role would suit a proactive and data driven individual, with excellent relationship building skills. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of data processing and general admin duties with strong knowledge of MS Suite applications. In addition you should have experience in processing payments, ideally to a supply chain. Any experience working in a defence related business or military environment would be ideal, particularly in a commercial role. There is room for growth and or commercial development is essential.

Please note this role will be based out a military site which requires security clearance. The successful candidate will therefore need to be compliant with on site regulations, consent to a full security check, and be comfortable working in a military environment.
