Role Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a proactive HSEQ Advisor to join our Highways business at Amey. In this role you will have a large remit working across 3 key functions of our prestigious Trafford contract including; roads maintenance, waste collection, and street lighting works. You will work closely with operational teams on each, engaging on the ground to understand Health & Safety issues and developing improvements to address these. You will also be responsible for monitoring and recording relevant data, to feed back to senior leadership and implement in the form of innovative and forward thinking policies and best practice.

What are we looking for?

This role would suit a proactive individual with excellent relationship building skills. You must be comfortable in attending both site visits and senior business meetings, with excellent communication skills in both environments. The successful candidate will have an IOSH or other relevant qualification, combined with experience from an HSEQ function in a relevant industry. Particular experience in any of the 3 key disciplines of works would be very advantageous but is not required.
