Now Christmas is behind us and spring is around the corner, maybe its time to consider a change and kick start the year with a new challenge.

Eclipse Inventories are a small, family business with a strong presence in the London inventory world.

This job is all about the detail, verging on the obsessive, with lashings of love for customer service thrown in. The role is very varied with the main tasks being; diary handling & job booking, systems management, report proof reading and processing within set TAT’s, query handling, communication with the team and freelancers and  meeting KPI’s.

Day to Day View of the Job

  • Working to a default diary  the applicant will have set tasks to do every day, including but not exhaustive:
  • logging report returns and queries
  • chasing late reports
  • responding to emails
  • handling phone calls throughout the day
  • Booking new jobs
  • diary juggling to ensure optimal company performance
  • proof reading reports
  • processing & sending reports to the customer
  • chasing payments
  • liaising with clerks, agents, landlords & tenants on issues that arise in the day
  • reporting any issues back to the line manager, to name a few.

Essential Knowledge & Key Skills:

Highly proficient in MS Office programmes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Report processing and proof reading skills

Diary booking & handling

System & organisation obsessive

Desirable

Inventory or estate agency / property management related experience

Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths & English

Pre-requisites

High speed reliable broadband

Quiet office-like environment available to work from

Where & How

The Company main office is based in Beaconsfield, South Buckinghamshire, the training for this role will take place in Beaconsfield but will then be home based with regular contact days being held in Beaconsfield thereafter.

Training can take up to two months.

All necessary computer equipment and phone will be provided.

As this is a niche industry, most applicants may not have prior knowledge of it, full training will be given but ongoing autonomous learning, additional training & courses would be encouraged by the company.

£25 k pro rata

Hours

The role has historically worked on a  4 day week with 3 full days, 9 – 6 and 2 half days.

We are happy to discuss the above set up with the right candidate.

The industry is seasonal with May – October being the peak season, July, August & September are the busiest months.
