Job Details

Our client is looking for a conscientious Community Care Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis

Position: Community Care Assistant

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £9.29 and £9.67 bank holiday and weekend

Hours: Flexible, contracted hours to fit around your family life

About the role:

We’re seeking caring and compassionate individuals who enjoy interacting with seniors and assisting them with their daily living activities.

As a Community Care Assistant you will work with vulnerable individuals to help them live their lives to the full. It is the ultimate ‘people job’. You are another person’s lifeline and you are often the only professional they establish any sort of relationship with.

Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of people you are looking after. You will often be helping people to wash and dress, eat and drink, and go about their daily activities. You might be cooking for them or taking them shopping or simply hoisting them into a more comfortable position in bed.

About you:

You don’t need to have previous experience in Care to be successful in this role, as training will be provided - in fact some of the best carers have never worked in Care before, but they have a real talent to care for others that is second to none!

If you are looking for a genuinely rewarding career with a company that really cares and you have the following personal attributes, then apply today:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • A kind and caring nature, a serious commitment to work and a desire to work in an organisation where you can make a real difference

In Return:

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an organisation that really values their employees;

“Great company to work for ethical, green, social business" - (Glassdoor review)
