We are currently looking to recruit for a Network Engineer to join our busy in-house Network Services team. The key responsibilities / duties within the role will include: -

* Perform day-to-day support activities to maintain branch office and data centre network infrastructure.

* Monitor, maintain and administer the health of the enterprise-wide network infrastructure

* Monitor, configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)

* Office and site visits, network monitoring.

* Customer engagement , presentation and reporting.

You will need to have:

* An analytical mind

* An ability to learn new technologies quickly

* Good time management skills

* An ability to follow processes

* Strong documentation skills

* Good communication skills - both written and verbal

* Leadership and organizational skills

* Administration and service improvements

Essential and Desirable Criteria
Technical skills required: -

Proven experience of:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently deal with stakeholders at all levels.

* Experience with Cisco Layer 2/3 switches and routers

* Experience with Firewalls (NextGen)

* Familiarity with Ruckus wireless solutions

* Familiarity with Symantec Web filtering solutions Qualifications and Membership Essential

* Degree qualified in Computing or related discipline or equivalent professional experience

* One of the following: CompTia Security+, Network+, CCNA or higher

Desirable

* ITIL Foundation

* Driving Licence
