Who are you and what will you be doing?

This is a new position created to support and develop the client portfolio of workingwise. The site offers a variety of ways to generate revenue and this position will cover a range of digital sales which include, job board sales, top employer partnership opportunities on our workingwise charter, site sponsorship opportunities, sponsorship of research and our annual awards. Furthermore, there are a range of marketing and branding options for organisations looking to increase their brand exposure. With almost endless opportunities to maximise your income through an excellent commission structure.

  • The position is focussed primarily on new business, sales and lead generation with only a small amount of the workload expected to include account management once a portfolio of clients has been generated.
  • Candidates should therefore be confident in identifying new leads or potential clients, making a variety of calls and emails introducing our platforms, writing proposals, booking and attending client meetings, onboarding new clients and delivering a level of aftercare.
  • The successful candidate will spend their days talking to companies about the benefits of attracting and retaining a typically older workforce and stand as an advocate for diversity and inclusion.

What experience should you have?

  • Past or current experience of digital sales.
  • Drive and determination – Sales can be a tough job!
  • Proven ability to build a sales pipeline and close deals.
  • Confidence in speaking to people at all levels including C-Suite and Directors.
  • A passion for flexible working, D&I and equality in the workplace.
  • Experience of the Recruitment Industry – desirable but not essential.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Candidates should have their own laptop and access to home wi-fi / broadband if opting for part remote. We will provide a phone and training around our sites and packages.
  • Some previous experience in digital sales is essential and exposure to the recruitment industry is a plus, but certainly not essential.

What’s the Interview Process?

  • If your cover letter and CV catch our eye, one of our Consultants will be in touch.
  • Shortlisting candidates will have their profiles forwarded to our Sales Director for review.
  • Telephone Interview – A 30 minute call with the Sales Director.
  • Face to Face – You will come on down to our offices in Angel, Islington to meet our Sales Director and the Founder of workingmums.
  • Chemistry Fit – If you get to this stage you should rest assured that we probably think you’re the one. This will be a chance to meet more of our team and see how you slot into life at workingmums. It is also a chance for you to ask any final questions and sort out the details of your offer and start.
