Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) Agriculture currently manages agriculture funds with assets in Australia and Brazil and is working to establish European presence to offer investors exposure to European opportunities.  We are a team of dedicated agriculture and finance professionals, with global experience.

As a Business Manager, you will manage our portfolio of assets with the execution of new investment opportunities, refinancing and fundraising tasks. You will work with senior and portfolio executives to pursue transaction opportunities, creating and executing strategic initiatives both internally and within portfolio companies. You will have the opportunity to support the development and refining of their business plans and strategy, including identifying and delivering operational and financial improvements within portfolio companies.

You will also:

  • Support directors in originating and assessing potential investment opportunities and partners.
  • Managing internal investment process documentation and approvals.
  • Modelling investment opportunities and developing internal approval packs and papers.
  • Researching macro and market trends and outlooks.
  • Preparing asset management and investor reports.
  • Support fund establishment process and preparation of prospectus and fund documents.

 

In order to meet the criteria for this role the successful applicant must be speak English, Spanish and Portuguese to a fluent level, plus one other European language.  Must be educated to a degree level with at least 5 years’ relevant experience.
