Position Summary

The International Total Rewards team at Discovery are responsible for the design and management of Compensation & Benefit plans and programmes for nearly 5,000 employees in 34 countries. Our goal is to drive engagement and position Discovery as a destination employer by supporting the attraction and retention of Talent, through a competitive reward offering that supports the welfare and wellbeing of employees.

As a key member of the team, this role will be supporting the Intl C&B Director with the launch of a new benefits portal and app across 20 countries.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management – including but not limited to:
    • Close alignment with external benefits system provider to ensure deadlines met and activities tracked
    • Helping to set project deadlines and communicating to wider project team
    • Attendance of all meetings, ensuring meetings notes actioned and relevant stakeholders updated
    • Outline core dependencies on other teams / systems and ensure risks are captured
  • Design – contribute to the design of the portal and review all design documents, ensuring consistency across markets. Help to deliver our aim of improving the employee experience and automating benefit processes.
  • External integrations – Support regional C&B lead in working with local benefit providers to digitalise enrolment processes and set up system integrations. Work with external benefits system provider to scope out feasibility of integrations.
  • Discovery integrations – work closely with Discovery teams to ensure tech solutions are in place / will work for future processes (including IT, payroll, P&C tech).
  • Training – lead the planning, create training materials and implement training modules for multiple teams across Discovery.
  • Communications – act as communications lead ensuring that messaging is kept within branding guidelines and there is consistency across markets (completing reviews of all content created by the Total Rewards team). Plan the launch campaigns for each country.
  • Testing – ensure robust testing is completed across all areas of the portal (UAT, integrations, end-to-end process testing). Review test scenarios and lead testing meetings as needed.
  • Strategy – Support Intl C&B Dir with driving the digitalisation of benefits including writing status reports and presentations for senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering significant and complex projects across multiple markets using sound project management techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks concurrently, prioritising and delegating effectively.
  • Good experience of benefits systems implementation
  • Strong experience of International Benefits, including the design and implementation of new plans and governance of existing plans.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to design processes and operating practices that minimise risk and drive efficiency.
  • Ability to build robust relationships with stakeholders and to effectively influence others and manage conflict.
  • Strong communication skills that engage.
