Job Details

Take ownership of your HR career and come and join our dynamic London HR team where you will be working within the heart of our business, immersed in a workplace culture built upon innovation.

You will provide key advisory and HR delivery services to the Macquarie Asset Management (MAM) business in EMEA, which includes our Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) and Macquarie Investment Management (MIM) divisions. You will partner with the leadership teams to drive their strategic priorities as well as leading on day to day HR activities.

As part of the wider HR team both regionally and globally, you will deliver a people agenda within MAM that is aligned with the business groups' commercial aims and overall people strategy and Macquarie's corporate HR principles and practices.

You will be driven and self-motivated with a learning mindset and able to demonstrate prior effectiveness in a highly matrixed, international environment, ideally from an asset management, private equity or investment banking background. You will be a team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and have a successful track record in a relevant HR generalist role. Your strong stakeholder management communication and influencing skills, and capability across core HR activities (especially talent management, organisational design, change management, employee relations and remuneration) will see you flourish in this role. You’ll be experienced in the UK market, and given the remit of the role, exposure to other European countries, especially Luxembourg and Germany would be desirable.

If you’re team player and want to be part of a successful growing business, where HR is a commercial and trusted advisor, we’d love to hear from you.

Company

Working at Macquarie

We believe in providing a positive environment for all our staff that is innovative and inspiring. For our female staff, Macquarie’s senior leaders are actively involved in increasing the representation of females in management positions.  In June 2014, we launched a mentoring programme for females, with the following two objectives:

  • Address female retention rates at Senior Manager level and improve our diverse pipeline of talent;
  • Engage female Senior Managers by providing tools and support around their personal development;

The programme pairs up Senior Managers with Directors, who meet on a monthly basis, and are supported by active group sessions (bi-monthly) with an external facilitator.

We select some of the brightest minds to help us in solving complex challenges for our clients.  We recognise that recruiting talent from varied backgrounds is essential to improving our understanding of the marketplace, and enhancing creativity and problem-solving capabilities in our businesses.

Because of this, our commitment to you is to create a diverse and inclusive workplace regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or cultural background.

We make this commitment not only because it is the right thing to do but it opens up a world of opportunity, securing the future of our people, our success and our business
