You will provide key advisory and HR delivery services to our Commodity and Global Markets (CGM) business in EMEA, whilst partnering with the leadership team on their strategic priorities as well as day to day HR activities.  This will include owning the relationships with the key members of the CGM client base to ensure regional HR input into CGM’s people strategy, including the effective diagnosis of HR issues and in close collaboration with HR specialists and centres of excellence. Directly managing and overseeing the end-to-end process for key senior-level hires/ larger resourcing projects, including interviewing and selection support, and having an active role in contract negotiation. Participating in the delivery of the end-to-end business talent review process – including embedding a performance management culture through the setting of appropriate business objectives, and year-end reviews, and the facilitation of talent calibration/ roundtables for the relevant Regional Advisory Committee, as well as effectively diagnosing the need for employee relations involvement and making the relevant referrals to the business-aligned ER team.

As part of the HRBP team, you will work closely with the HR Director of CGM, CGM HR Lead – EMEA and Regional Head of HR, to formulate and deliver a people agenda within CGM that is aligned with the business groups' commercial aims and overall people strategy and Macquarie's corporate HR principles and practices.

You will be driven, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate prior effectiveness in a highly matrixed, international environment. You will be a team player with the ability to multi-task and have a successful track record in a relevant HR role, specifically with exposure in employee relations.
