An opportunity to join Macquarie Specialized and Asset Finance Group in EMEA as a DevOps Engineer and become a member of the Technology team as we help automate and simplify systems and processes in use by the business.

You will be an energetic and enthusiastic professional who is willing to learn new technologies. As a key member of a small regional team, working directly with the business, you will support the business systems, be able to explain issues and solutions in plain, non-technical language, as well as organise project delivery. This role will suit you if you are looking to develop their career in a range of areas.

You will also need the following technical skills:

  • Strong Analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good experience of databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with application development (C# or Java), using Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with consuming web services (REST/SOAP/Web API), and
  • Inter-system data exchange via XML
