Position: Communications Delivery Planner

Location: Flexible, with regular visits to HQ in Sandy, Bedfordshire

Salary: £26,212 – £29,320 per annum

Hours: Full time, permanent

About the role:

We are looking for a Communications Delivery Planner to be at the heart of our client’s external communications, making sure that all of their communications deliver an unrivalled supporter experience and ultimately allow them to deliver most impact for nature.

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • facilitating the production of audience-led, integrated campaign plans that will play out across the full range of our client’s owned and earned channels.
  • You will be the driving force behind the short-term communications planning; pulling together information and insight from around the business to make sure the focus is on the right things at the right time, aligning messages and delivering against the communications strategy.

 

About you:

As Communications Planner you will be able to bring together expert insight from a range of stakeholders to ensure the right channel, voice and message is used for the right audience.

You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:

 

  • Detailed knowledge and experience of specialist software, best practices and methodologies relevant to the role.
  • Effective written and communication skills.
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with peers and colleagues.
  • Financial skills, sufficient to monitor expenditure, where appropriate.
  • Experience of and ability to understand, conceptualise and interpret the technical requirements of staff, volunteers and other stakeholders.
  • Experience of working independently and resolving unforeseen issues and challenges.
  • Experience of planning and progressing work activities within industry guidelines or organisational policy, occasionally applying initiative and independent judgement.
