As our Head of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the Bank’s digital marketing strategy. You’ll play a key part in building our digital brand and delivering to our business growth objectives, whilst also delivering best practice digital marketing activity across our portfolio of products. You will be working closely with our Brand and Marketing Director during this exciting time for Metro Bank as you bring to life our ambitious plans. 

So what would you be doing?...

• Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies and in all aspects of digital marketing (including SEO, data analytics, PPC, email, affiliates, CRM display, and social)

• Managing large scale PPC campaigns, optimising all activity, including bid management, copywriting and competitor benchmarking

• Developing and maintaining the reporting suite using Powerbi dashboards, CRM and Excel to provide insight into effectiveness of the digital marketing activities, including performance tracking 

• Identifying current and future trends to ensure that the digital marketing strategy is fresh by staying up to date with the latest innovations, technologies, changes in competition, and shifts in the digital landscape.

• Transforming the Bank of today into the Bank of the future through annual to monthly marketing planning

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders

• Naturally you will have previous experience working as a Head of Digital Marketing, Marketing Technology or Performance Marketing position

• Experience with modern marketing strategies and platforms enabled by data e.g. marketing automation, CRM, and digital & social targeting marketing platforms

• To be successful in this role you will need to have an understanding of attribution modelling, ideally with experience of having successfully implemented this in previous roles

• A strategic and creative thinker, with a strong business sense

• Outstanding organisational skills, an ‘eagle like’ attention to detail and experience working with multiple stakeholders at all levels
