As the Lead Treasury Risk Analyst, you will support the Treasury Risk function by leading the monitoring and reporting of the Bank’s interest rate, liquidity and market risks. As part of your role, you will help lead the team that creates daily reports which outline Metro Bank’s risk positions and how they’ve changed since the day before.

So what would you be doing?...

• Coordinating and overseeing the production of monthly reports for the asset & liability committee and making recommendations on how to handle new products

• Being responsible for preparing regulatory reports on a quarterly basis for the Prudential Regulation Authority 

• Utilising a computer model called Focus and troubleshooting the model if required 

• Organising and leading the preparation of reports for Treasury Risk, Treasury and Treasury Operations

• Assisting with any analytical work that Treasury or the other Risk teams need

• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders

• You must have a strong understanding of how an organisation manages interest rate risk, liquidity risk and foreign exchange

• In order to succeed in this role, you will have excellent experience using Microsoft Excel

• You need to have a good understanding of the principles of how a Bank works and the way we measure those risks

• In order to exceed in this role, you will require amazing report writing skills
