Your new team

Nest outsources the delivery of services to its customers and in 2023, the current administration contract is coming to an end. Nest is engaged in a procurement exercise to put in place the new contract. This presents an opportunity for Nest to make sure any new solution meets its future insight needs.

This role will sit in the new MI and Analytics department, reporting to the Director of MI and Analytics: a team of around 10 with responsibility for supporting data reporting and analysis activity across Nest.

However day-to-day, it will effectively be embedded within the programme responsible for working with our service provider to implement our new scheme administration service. There will be 70-80 colleagues working across the following broad functions:

Commercial management;

Delivery, implementation and transition;

Service design.

This role will work most closely with the Service Design team, which will be responsible for working with our service provider to make sure the designed and delivered service meets our users’ needs, including internal customers of our own data and insight.

Your new role

You will help to shape delivery of the data and MI aspects of the new service. You will work to understand data and analysis requirements across Nest and ensure those are met by the solutions proposed by the supplier through their approach to data ingestion, storage, delivery and visualisation. This will include requirements around customer, consumer, digital, digital optimisation, financial, HR, procurement and marketing data.

About You

You will have skills and experience in the following aspects of data management:

• Experience with different types of data - including customer, consumer, digital, digital optimisation, financial, HR, procurement and marketing
• Experience of ingestion, storage and delivery of data for marketing optimisation
• Experience with building data requirements for different sources and types of data through ingestion, storage and delivery of data visualisation, reporting and analytics
• Experience of data migration to a cloud environment
• Familiar with the implementation of data governance principles in a new data environment
• Experience of building data requirements for implementing a new reporting environment
• Familiar with different data programming languages and reporting platforms
• Experience of working with an outsourced delivery partner
