This is a truly unique opportunity for an enthusiastic bookkeeping and payroll professional to join a fast-growing accounting business based in Yorkshire, but with national aspirations.  Our client helps business owners create the organisation they want by using technology and financial direction to increase profits and develop their business.

About You:

  • Do you understand and produce high quality bookkeeping and payroll?
  • Are you a part qualified AAT with a good working knowledge of Sage, Sage Payroll, Excel, Xero and IRIS?
  • Do you have a proven track record in working with different accounting systems and the confidence to learn new ones?
  • Are you performance driven and love a challenge?
  • Do you want to make a difference to the local economy and community
  • Do you have the ability, confidence and attitude to get things done quickly and on your own initiative?
  • Do you have a genuine interest in business and an enthusiasm for learning?
  • Are you willing to go the extra mile, to get the results for your clients?

About the Role:

If you’re this Bookkeeper and Payroller, together, we will work with business owners/entrepreneurs to grow and develop their businesses.

You will be responsible for:

  • A range of duties across a number of clients including: Bank reconciliation, Processing invoices, Receipts and Payments on Sage, Xero, FreeAgent, Quickbooks, Kashflow, Receiptbank and Auto Entry, Balance sheet reconciliation, VAT returns, CIS returns, PayrollClient onboarding- Engagement letters, AML checks and updating HMRC and Companies House administration for clients
  • Representing the company in front of prospective clients in person, by telephone or written communications

You will benefit from:

  • The role is part time with a salary range of pro-rata £20,000 to £25,000
  • Mainly office based with some client vists and flexible working hours where required
