We are currently recruiting for a talented and motivated senior estimator to join our growing infrastructure strategic alliance team in Whitehaven, Cumbria.
As a senior estimator you will support the pre-construction team for preparing tenders to secure projects, in particular, competitive design and build tenders for both new build and refurbishment projects including liaising with planners, design managers and preconstruction managers to deliver innovative solution.
- Already experienced as a senior estimator
- Able to develop proposals from first principle labour, plant and materials and able to undertake own take offs
- Educated to HNC standard as a minimum
- Understanding of construction technology and innovative techniques.
- Able to proficiently use Valesco or Candy estimating software
- Cost planning knowledge and experience.
Our work focuses on delivering non-nuclear infrastructure activities in a nuclear environment both for civil and military customers.
Infrastructure Strategic Alliance (ISA)
The ISA is an integrated team which consists of three delivery partners; Sellafield Limited, Morgan Sindall and Arup. Working in joint venture with Arup, Morgan Sindall is responsible for a £1.1 billion long term contract to provide essential infrastructure assets to the Sellafield Ltd site.
