Position Overview

Provide P&C partnership working as part of the Content and Production Operations to team to ensure delivery of the goals with respect to resourcing needs for the Olympic event. Develop pragmatic and robust solutions to P&C issues.  Proactively handle day-to-day operational aspects but also contribute at the strategic level.

Local Staffing

 

  • Be responsible for confirming work rules and education organisation
  • Be able to identify the local recruitment and payroll partner
  • Work with functional/market leads to understand local staffing requirements; make suggestions for local recruitment
  • Be an active participant/ lead for the Ambassador Programme/Employee Engagement
  • Be responsible for identifying positions (homebased/onsite) to serve as Ambassador roles
  • Facilitate the interview and selection process
  • Support on internal communication/program design

Staffing

  •  
  • Review and validate staffing plans (employee type accuracy)
  • Track freelance rates for equity; operate as part of approval process for rate changes
  • Contracting
  • Create/facilitate approval of contract and LOI Templates (w/ emp. Legal)
  • Sign/Issue Ignite generated Olympic Contracts
  • Facilitate IR35 Requirements
  • Be responsible for Per Diem Payments
  • Complete tax rate analysis across markets to determine optimal per diem amount
  • Coordinate payment of per diem with local payroll leads
  • Be accountable for Incident Response Support and advise on all employee relations issues, at all times ensuring best practice, legal compliance and policies and procedures are adhered to - where necessary, partnering with internal and external outside legal counsel

Non - Olympics

  • Represent and advocate for unique staffing needs of live sport production within P&C initiatives (i.e. Condor and freelancer onboarding)

Requirements

  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and prior experience of business partnering in a fast paced matrix environment
  • Good understanding of UK labour law, with the ability to apply this to varying situations and scenarios
  • Experience of working in a pan European environment
  • Proven ability to partner with a diverse client group, from staff to senior management
  • Proven experience in problem-solving and organizational management practices within a matrix organization
  • Proven ability to communicate concisely and deliver results
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits practices
  • Demonstrate the capability to manage a complex and changing workload with the ability to meet changing and varying deadlines
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good numerical skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills
  • Must be able to exercise a level of independent judgment; the incumbent must be able to make sound P&C related decisions that enhance the business’ performance, on occasions with little direction, whilst ensuring they are complying with local practices, laws and regulations across other legal jurisdictions
