If you have great communication skills, a willingness to learn and the drive to teach others then this job will be perfect for you. No previous instructor experience is needed, you just need to have held a driving licence for three and a half years.

Becoming a driving Instructor with the English school of motoring and earn OTE of £840 for a 40 hour week.

Qualifications needed to become a driving instructor

English School of Motoring will support you through Parts 1 – 3, giving you advice on theory tests, assessing and giving guidance on your tuition of driving and helping you to learn everything there is to know about becoming a great driving instructor.

  • Part 1 is a PC based multiple choice theory and hazard perception test similar to the current test for the learner drivers but more questions
  • Part 2 is a driving test, again similar to the current test for learner drivers but to a higher standard
  • Part 3 is a practical test of your ability to instruct, where an examiner will watch you conduct a driving lesson.

The DVSA recommend you should only take training to become a driving instructor from organization’s which are Ordit registered.
