We are looking for caring and dedicated Adult Support Workers living close to the Canterbury area of Kent. No Experience is necessary as a very high standard of training and mentorship is provided to develop you into an AMAZING Support Worker.

As one if their Support Workers, you will be working within a Residential Service rated as Outstanding for Caring and overall Good by the CQC and would become part of a staff team described as being “dedicated and motivated” and “proud of the work they undertake” the environment and successes they achieve every day is testament to the Leadership of the dedicated Registered Manager.

The service supports Adults who have varying physical and learning disabilities aswell as more complex healthcare needs including Dementia. The people living at the service are very active and take part in many leisure and education activities and they want fun Support Workers who want to be busy taking part in activities with them.

Duties

* Support people with everyday education and leisure tasks

* To support the individual according to his/her needs and aspirations

* To maintain accurate notes and records

* To Support people outside of the home or whilst taking part in activities.

* To maintain effective communication with people families.

* To keep people safe, secure and advocate on their behalf when needed.
