We have a new opportunity for a School Liaison Co-ordinator to join our team based in our Black Country Centres. You will join us on a permanent, full time or part time basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £18,000 - £28,000 per annum.

Juniper are an independent established training provider who have been assisting young people to move forward and achieve for 35 years. Delivering Traineeships, Study Programmes and Apprenticeships we help young people across the country to take positive steps forward in their lives.

As our School Liaison Co-ordinator you will:

- Increase the number of partnerships with schools and colleges local to designated centres
- Ensure excellent relationships built with these partners
- Recruit students onto training programmes – Study Programme, Traineeships & Apprenticeships
- Promote and raise the profile of Juniper and the provision offered
- Safeguard the welfare of all students, preventing radicalisation and promoting British Values

Key responsibilities as our School Liaison Co-ordinator will be to:

- Establish excellent working relationships with key personnel in schools and colleges local to designated centre(s)
- Undertake activities that result in students being recruited and starting on training programmes, including; marketing, planning and running open events, attending career events, parent’s evenings, assemblies and supporting schools with enterprise/career activities
- Use of social media to raise Juniper’s profile
- Plan and host centre “find your feet” days &/or information sessions and host breakfast/awareness meetings for school/college staff to attend
- Ability to conduct virtual presentations/videos/”find your feet” days
- Ensure regular updates and good news stories are provided to designated schools
- Work closely, and build excellent, supportive relationships with centre ROs and AEEOs
- Ensure centre start targets are met
- Maintain CRM system containing details of key contacts, and contact made
- Manage own Outlook diary in order to meet all responsibilities and targets
- Complete all required documentation in accordance with laid down procedures to meet both contractual and internal requirements

Skills and abilities, we’re looking for in our School Liaison Co-ordinator:

- Level 2 English & Maths (or working at)
- Persuade & influence others and deal with conflict/challenging behaviour
- Build rapport with target group
- Communicate professionally with referral/support agencies
- Present to groups
- To “cold-call”
- Innovative & solution focused
- Remain positive, with a bubbly, engaging personality
- Competent in use of IT
- Meet targets and provide a quality service to all stakeholders
- Working knowledge of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instragram)
