About the Team:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our in-house Studio based in Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for an ambitious Studio Assistant on a part time basis (hours below) to support all areas within our Photo Studio. To ensure end to end sample flow, studio set ups and effectively contribute to the smooth running of a studio operation.

About the role

You will:

  • Use the studio database to check products into the system as required for scheduling and check out to return to relevant head office departments/warehouses, working with the studio production coordinator to ensure product is available for the shoot teams.
  • Be responsible for housekeeping and ensuring the studio is a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
  • Be responsible for the physical movement of kit, sets, props and product within the studios.
  • Provide assistance to shoot teams including painting, set changes and set building.
  • Drive company vehicles in accordance with company procedures.
  • Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure that products are secured safely.
  • Operate all on-site equipment to the correct standards, carrying out daily checks.
  • Source and order props for shoots and update budget logs with details where required.

Please note the working hours for this position are 18 hours:Wed & Thurs: 9am – 5pm and Friday: 9am - 12.30pm (18 hrs)

Criteria About you:

  • Be able to contribute and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Be able to work well under pressure and be committed and flexible to changing demands.
  • Have attention to detail to ensure that tasks are completed accurately.
  • Be able to operate/work effectively without continuous supervision or direction.
  • Have experience within a similar role or environment. Full UK driving licence required.
