This is an amazing opportunity to part id a team opening a brand new complex care service in Hull in Spring 2021. We are looking for a Nurse Unit Manager to work at this brand-new, purpose-built nursing home will pay the successful applicant £17.49 per hour. This state of the art home is due to open in spring 2021 for up to 20 service users and will not have the traditional feel: its unique layout means they will be able to offer holistic care for adults with complex mental and physical health needs and associated challenging behaviours.

As Nurse Unit Manager

You will manage a unit of 10 beds
Bring warmth, enthusiasm, and compassion to your post when providing nursing care to service users
Keep your team's morale high as you motivate them to go about their daily duties
Manage and audit care plans and medications
Ensure compliance and safety of residents and staffAbout You

you must be a registered nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD) and have a valid NMC Pin.
Outstanding communication skills
You must be able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplined team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be up to date with evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC standards.
Experience of mentorship and a supervisor qualification would be desirable.
Interested in learning skills outside of your trained discipline i.e. RGN learning and developing skills in mental health, or RMN/RNLD learning general nursing clinical skills.Package

With day or night shifts available, there are permanent contracts from 33 to 44 hours per week for a RGN, RMN or RNLD qualified nurse unit manager.
The salary offered equates to £35,355 pa based on a 38.5-hour week or £40017 based on 44hour week (top end of Band 6)
