Jark Bradford Ltd Commercial Recruitment Team are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Manager to join a busy family Company, supporting them on a broad range of finance activities.
General Activities:

• Processing of daily invoicing to clients
• Entering Journals on Nominal Ledger
• Running and Submitting VAT
• Reconciling client accounts – including running ledger checks, chasing payments, and following up queries
• Dealing directly with clients regarding any queries/complaints/returns raised in a timely and courteous manner.
• Bank reconciliations and posting of daily cash book entries.
• Preparing Cashflow Projections
• Setting up new clients & checking supporting documentation for all
• Running Purchase ledger activities
• Setting up Direct Debits & submitting payment requests to the bank – including currency payments
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• To prepare and post journals
• Updating and maintaining company/accounting reports on a weekly/monthly basis
• Assisting with year-end audits

Skills required:

• An Accounts Qualification
• Proven Accounts Experience
• Knowledge of currency and exchange rates
• Experience in an accountancy related role
• Able to work at pace to tight deadlines.
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Positive attitude
• Strong knowledge of IT systems MS Outlook, word, Excel etc
• Profit + Software experience preferable, but not necessary

Location: Keighley
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Position: Permanent
Hours: Part Time (25 hours per week)
