Ben Johnson Recruitment are looking for a talented Dealership Accountant to join a leading automotive business based in West Yorkshire. Working closely with the Owner and reporting into the Group FD, the role requires a qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA) who has an automotive background and a flair for developing internal systems and processes to support growing business needs.

This is a Company Accountant role covering all aspects of finance.

Key Responsibilities include:

Preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
Annual statutory accounts and management of yearly audit
Producing budgets and forecasts
Managing cash flow and bank balances
Quarterly VAT submissions
Carrying out bank reconciliation work
Maintaining and updating fixed asset records
Processing weekly income returns from sites
Managing and administering the company pension scheme
Providing general financial advice to the MD, shareholders and management teaSkills Required:

Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA or ACA)
A true love of the automotive industry and previous experience in the sector
A hands on finance person who enjoys a varied accounting role
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships at all levels
Competent/Advanced excel userWhat's on offer
