Here at the Alliance Group of Companies, we supply temporary contract labour to the Construction industry through specialist divisions, along with the permanent placement of professional white collar staff.
We are searching for an outstanding candidate to join us as our Marketing Manager, to lead and drive forward our brands as we embark upon a period of growth.
As a senior leader within the business, the successful candidate will work closely with other Alliance Group business leaders, and will be accountable for the management of all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department.
You will innovate, design and develop the marketing plan and strategy in line with company objectives. You will have responsibility for the company's marketing budget: forecast and actual expenditure.
A key focus will be on strengthening the brand and gaining awareness across the sector, you will provide market insight, strategy and acquisition, develop tactical strategy for PPC, email marketing campaigns and social media and will be 'hands on' with social media, and the websites.
The role is office based, in our Head Office in Leeds but may on occasion require you to travel to our other offices in Bath, Glasgow and in the future, London. As Head of Marketing, you will nurture excellent working relationships with all Group departments in the business, particularly Sales, as well as external parties such as suppliers and contractors.
The role would best suit an individual with strong organisational skills and an ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Recruitment industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
This is a role which would suit flexible working, however being a team player and working closely with the other members of staff to drive the marketing efforts is paramount.
What are we looking for?
* Minimum of 5 years' relevant marketing experience
* Able to complete tasks efficiently while managing multiple deadlines
* Strong digital experience across a wide range of areas including SEO, Google Adwords, Facebook and email
* Evidence of developing strategic marketing plans / campaigns
* Ability to negotiate
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational and administration skills
* Ability to manage your own workload and identify ways to improve
* Coachability - demonstrates self reflection and is positive in receiving and incorporating feedback to improve own performance
* Evidence of regular development planning and personal growth
* Marketing related degree or qualifications
