Sue Ross Recruitment are working withn a specialist asbestos removal company in the recruitment of a Bid Writer. This permanent role can be considered on a full time or part time basis.

The Bid Writer / Manager will provide consistency throughout the entire process, responsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the process and bidding efforts: Completion of Expression of Interest (EOI), Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and the invitation to Tender (ITT) documentation

Applicants should have experience in the following:

* Proven experience as a Bid Manager within the Asbestos Removal and/or Asbestos Consultancy Industry

* Index previous quality and technical responses

* Provide a supporting role to the business development team, responsible for specific tasks in relation to supplier questionnaires, tenders, lead allocation and the Bid Library.

* Responsible for the upkeep of the CRM system by logging opportunity numbers for tenders

* Attend on-site client pre-qualification meetings and tender presentations

* Write great copy for all tenders / PQQ's / presentations

* Implement qualification of a bid / no bid process

* Lead bids, directing and compiling contributions from the various departmental managers and writing content to make the commercial and business case clear to the client

* Identify, analyse and review tender opportunities, developing these across all of their services, ensuring that the company is on frameworks / registered on procurement websites

* Prepare compliant, compelling proposals, successfully conveying our USPs and benefits

* Maintain a library of current & accurate corporate information for inclusion in tenders & PQQ's

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong communication skills with an excellent command of written and spoken English

* The ability to write about complex, technical concepts in easy-to-understand ways and convey ideas graphically

* Excellent research skills that enable the gathering of information critical to developing a competitive offer

* Management of multiple proposals with a high level of attention to timescales for delivery

* Highly IT literate and good presentation skills

* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with a focus on quality

* To carry out any other duties required as part of the overall strategy to achieve the company's objectives
