Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a growing business in Doncaster to recruit a part-time Finance Manager.
Reporting to the company Directors, this is a new role with the business as they are now at a stage in their growth where they need to recruit an experienced Finance Manager, who will be able to bring the finance function in-house, set up all the processes and procedures, and provide accurate management information to the Directors to support their commercial decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
*Developing the internal finance function - embedding new processes and procedures including the month-end reporting process using the Xero Accounting system
*Creating a monthly management information pack for the Directors that will give them an accurate overview of company performance
*Overseeing transactional finance - including Accounts Payable and Receivable
*Ensuring the accurate processing of the monthly payroll
*Completing the CIS return
*Preparation of monthly management accounts
*Cash flow management and forecasting
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Submitting the VAT return to HMRC
*Managing the relationship with bank
*Providing financial support to the appraisal of new projects
*Analysing costs on construction projects against budgets
*Liaising with Site Managers
*Ad-hoc project work as required by the Company Directors
