Join the Macquarie Asset Management- Real Estate division in an Associate or Manager position, in our private equity real estate business, based in London. We are a small team of dynamic and high performing individuals focused on building a large and successful private equity real estate franchise across Europe.

Macquarie Asset Management’s real estate division is a global real estate investment business with a deep network and capability across real estate investment management, asset management and direct investment. Its specialist team of approximately 210 professionals, with a presence in 28 locations across 19 markets, provide opportunities across real estate sectors and the risk-return spectrum – from strategies to access emerging sectors through growing specialist real estate platforms and asset creation, to the disciplined investment and management of core and core plus real estate. Today, Macquarie Asset Management’s real estate division has approximately $14b of assets under management and an experienced, disciplined, and innovative team with a track record of delivering value for clients.

As an investment professional in our Infrastructure and Real Assetsteam, you will work with senior executives on the execution of new investment opportunities (including using Macquarie balance sheet) and will have primary responsibility for the financial modelling, analysis, and diligence of real estate assets and platform companies operating in the real estate sector.

You will also work directly with property managers, management teams and platform companies to oversee and direct execution of the business plans for owned real estate and platform. In addition, you will also be involved in capital raising from investors for managed investment products (including funds, joint ventures and clubs) and ongoing investor interactions.

Leveraging your experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, you will play a key role in the ongoing success of the team.

Your strong prioritisation skills, being able to deliver within tight timelines, your effectiveness in planning and ensuring quality output will be essential in this role. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, proactive, and resilient individual.

You will demonstrate sound business judgement and possess strong interpersonal skills which will give you the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels and be an effective team player.

Finally, you will be degree educated preferably with majors in finance/accounting or quantitative fields.
