Chief Finance Office

Job Description

Primary role purpose:

The primary purpose of the position is to provide robust and efficient financial analysis related to projects within the Global Government business unit. This includes taking ownership of project setups, billing, project costs, understanding variances and ensuring timesheet completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the key contact for project managers to provide timely and accurate information
  • Maintaining project reports and tracking all relevant income and expenditure for each project
  • Analyse and understand variances to plan and provide commentary
  • Leading process improvement and enhancements in relation to projects
  • Report on project profitability to senior management

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous project support and financial control experience
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings in written, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and verbal format to senior management
  • A creative problem solver and proactive individual with the ability to effectively manage various projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with passion for excellence and innovation.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Desirable Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant industry experience would be preferable.
  • Experience working with SAP and Tableau and SAP would be preferable
