Working in the Voice Trading team, within Sky's Customer Growth function, is an opportunity to join a team that has been described as the 'beating heart' of our business. We work hand in hand with our front-line contact centre agents, sit horizontally across all of our Product P&L 'verticals', and have accountability for creating and executing our trading strategy. What you'll do:

 

- This is a new position and you will have the opportunity to help shape and drive the scope of the role, bringing together an overall picture of Sky's performance across its' customer retention estates for the first time. Initially, the role will require the development of a new, dynamic, reporting suite and associated governance to ensure underlying trends are tracked, surfaced and appropriate commercial decisions are made off the back of them.
- Provide analysis and commercial insight for strategic programmes of work aimed at delivering our long-term customer relationship strategies
- Become an expert in overall customer churn performance with a good understanding of the key drivers at route to market level.
- Provide quality analysis daily / weekly across multiple routes to market to understand factors that positively and negatively impact in quarter P&L performance; working closely with Commercial Teams and Trading Performance to ensure delivery of appropriate recovery or improvement plans.
- Responsible for reviewing in quarter metrics optimisation metrics across the routes to market such as Cost Per Save, Offer Use Management, Call Mix optimisation, etc to deliver best possible outcome for business and for our customers working closely with Heads of Trading.
- Deliver and implement new reporting suite which allows these key metrics to be tracked weekly in review sessions between Commercial, Trading Performance and Finance on key Optimisation metrics

 


What you'll bring:

 

- Analytical: able to analyse large buckets of data and identify trends before clearly articulating the story and providing action plans
- Commercial: able to use their understanding of the interdependencies between KPIs and what drives retention performance to provide commercial solutions that drive enhanced operational and financial performance for the business
- Self-starter; applicants will be expected to be self-sufficient within the parameters of a supportive team
- Able to work across a matrix organisation with Commercial, Trading Performance, Finance and Contact Centre Operations to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely trading decisions
- Technical: Tableau preferred
