"As a member of the Media Strategy & Performance team you will have a prominent role in using data analytics to produce insights and meaningful recommendations for shaping Sky's media investment across TV, Content, Broadband and Mobile" - Julia Belyaeva, Media Strategy Lead


What you'll do:

- Responsible for monitoring and reporting competitor media developments and trends in our sectors and markets; producing regular reports and insights for senior leadership
- Combine research, data and analytical skills to develop SOV insights, forecasts, scenarios and recommendations where competitor action presents risk or opportunity for Sky
- Work closely with your colleagues across Marketing, Commercial, Consumer Strategy and external media agencies to embed insights into the decision-making process, ensuring recommendations are contextualised against internal and external factors
- Review and interpret data efficiently; identify potential strengths and weaknesses of datasets and/or sources
- Explore creative approaches to enhance datasets and use it to derive further insight e.g. enhancing competitor media reporting to reflect paid and owned media
- Work on ad-hoc strategic projects e.g. conducting analysis to link creative testing scores (System 1) with campaign performance
- Support and develop our media measurement framework by incorporating owned media into our tools


What you'll bring:

- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to analyse and interpret large datasets from multiple sources
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills; experience communicating data insights to senior partners
- Strong collaborator with an ability to work across a complex matrix organisation
- An ability to translate complex themes into simple, coherent and compelling recommendations to influence decision-making
