Job Details
This role calls for an individual who can create and deliver compelling conference, seminar and webinar programmes for the legal marketplace. Not only will the individual be a leader who is highly skilled in devising content which will appeal to highly specialist audiences, they must have an ability to spot new trends, recruit top speakers and have a proven background in conceiving, researching, designing and delivering agendas.
The individual must be an expert networker with the ability to assemble and leverage leading speakers in the industry, identify new channels and new launch opportunities. They must enjoy working individually and as part of a wider team. The successful candidate will work closely with research and marketing to help create market-leading
events.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create innovative, compelling and relevant agendas for the legal industry
• Drive demand by researching and applying commercial market knowledge to
conference content
• Compile, analyse and quantify desk research for programmes
• Organise panels, workshops and seminars for the desired audience
• Select, nurture, manage and engage with speakers
• Liaise with speakers to develop and fine-tune presentations
• Build relationships with target speakers for future opportunities
• Assist marketing with key content for communication plans per event to ensure
maximum exposure
Essential skills and qualifications
• Degree educated
• Proven experience in conference content production
• Ability to work to multiple and tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Superior organisational and project management skills
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to write engaging content relevant to the legal marketplace
• Significant experience in liaising directly with clients and relationship building
• Significant experience in or associated to the legal profession
• Curiosity to learn and expand knowledge of topics researched
• Ability to exceed the expectations of conference delegates
• Able to manage networks and liaise with targeted groups/advisory boards
• Excellent follow-up skills
