Our goal is embedding appropriate security/DevSecOps practices in all we do within OTT. Your work will help ensure our streaming and video on demand platforms, globally, remain secure.

What you'll do

A Security Analyst in the GOTTP Security team will be expected to carry out the following day to day activities:

- Assessing and triaging operational security data from a variety of tools (including but not limited to, SAST, SCA, Container Security and CCM)

- Liaising with product teams to address security concerns from operational security tooling, pen-tests and security area reviews.

- Using various tools, such as Kibana, to identify strong and weak teams in the security remediation space.

- Onboarding and assisting product teams with integrating products developed by the security engineering team to close security gaps identified during analysis.

- Understand how product teams use security tools and recommend improvements to the Security Engineering team

Additional activities may also be taken on, such as:

- Assist with the building of an Active Directory OU, from requirements gathering to implementation

- Onboarding of security tools to use the OU for authentication and identify GOTTP users

What you'll bring

- Understanding of software vulnerabilities, the risk they pose to organisations and how to fix them

- Experience with scripting and query languages as well as a grasp of schema such as the Elastic Common Schema will be useful for this role.

- A good understanding of the modern software development environment; from CI/CD to Containerisation and Cloud Platforms

- An ability to ask the right questions and have conscious awareness of situations that may present risks to delivery

- A background in problem management (in any field) with experience in Cyber Security
