We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Executive to join our High Street Head Office in Swindon.  This role is responsible for the creation of engaging customer facing content on all WHSmith digital touch points. 

What you’ll be doing:
- Creating high quality engaging content for the WHSmith Digital touch points
- Work closely with Head of Department to develop content and collaborate on social media strategies.
- Creation of product descriptions, range overviews, profile and brand pages, site and email copy, social assets and blog content
- Bring ideas to the table and help steer our agenda and targets
- Copywriting in response to briefed content requirements 
- Using analytical tools to monitor the successes and engagement levels for different types of content reporting based on analytics and propose where improvements can be made 
- Ensuring that all content is produced to meet SEO targets
- Constantly monitor peers and similar outlets to keep in front of new content trends and opportunities



What we are looking for:
- Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Googlr Analytics, Wordpress and CMS platforms ideally SFCC experience
- Degree educated or equivalent is desirable 
- Good understanding of HTML and CSS
- Previous experience in a similar role 
- Excellent copywriting and creative writing skills
- Experience of working in a content led environment 
- Understanding of search engine optimisation and social media 
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
