Position: Mental Health Services Lead

Hours: 28 to 35 (full-time) hours per week, flexibility for the right candidate

Contract length: Initial 12-month contract, with possible extension

Salary: £ 27,742- £30,451 pro rata

Location: Chorley office based with time spent in Blackburn with Darwen and across Lancashire at meetings

About the role:

This is an exciting time for the charity at the start of a new 5-year strategy and this role is a great opportunity to drive change.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery; caseload management, partner and funder liaison, promotion, quality assurance, monitoring and reporting. You will also be responsible for mobilising the Active Monitoring pilot, liaising with commissioners and NHS staff.

With direction and support from the Head of Services, the Mental Health Services Manager will have scope to explore ways of bringing new services to the people that need them. You will manage two Wellbeing Coaches who deliver services in Blackburn with Darwen and recruit and manage an Active Monitoring practitioner.

About you:

As Mental Health Services Manager we’re looking for a bold and caring person for a new role which will lead the development of the Wellbeing Coaching and Active Monitoring service. You will have experience of working in mental health services and ideally an understanding of the NHS psychological therapies service (IAPT).

You will need excellent communication skills, project management and line management experience. As well as being open, hardworking, creative and able to lead and develop this area of work for the charity.

Due to the nature of the role this post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
