The Security Consultancy Services team within the Security Services Department provides various security related services to Business, Technology and other Security functions within Sky.

 

 

We have a requirement for a Cyber Security Consultant to drive and deliver these services in an effective and efficient manner to reduce risk across the organisation. The role will be key in increasing the maturity of the services provided and will require the successful applicant to lead delivery of agreed services throughout the organisation.

 

 

 

What you'll do:

 

 

- Provide subject matter expertise and consultative services incorporating various aspects of Information security to business and technical stakeholders.

 

- Perform security reviews in line with best practice and business and security risk and where required assisting in facilitating remedial activity.

 

- Perform third party assurance activities to identify and minimise the risks associated with the use of third parties, and advise the relevant business and technical units accordingly.

 

- Perform Security training related activities related to the management of the training platforms and Portals and phishing exercises.

 

- Formalising internal processes and documentation in relation to the relevant internal services provided.

 

- Deliver Digital Forensic services to business and security operational teams ensuring evidence is effectively captured and protected.

 

- Act as a mentor and escalation point for junior members of staff as needed.

 

 

 

What you'll bring:

 

 

- 5+ years experience in Information Security and/ or related fields.

 

- Previous experience in a consulting role preferred but not essential.

 

- Experience with a variety of security technology and services.

 

- Relevant Security, Project Management and technical qualifications, including but not limited to CISSP, CISA, CISM, Prince2, TOGAF etc. preferred.

 

- Knowledge and experience with technology, security and DP related compliance, legal & regulatory frameworks and standards, including ISO27001, PCI DSS, OWASP, GDPR etc.

 

- Experience in working with technical and non technical business personnel at various levels, articulating security risks in a manner appropriate to the stakeholders.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There's also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
