Adams Fletcher & Partners are Chartered Quantity Surveyors with a long and successful history based in Gloucestershire. Following internal reviews, the leadership team has ambitious plans to develop the business significantly over the next 3-5 years and beyond.
The current team of five staff currently perform all the routine clerical, administrative and accounting tasks associated with running the business. We would like this practice to change to allow the team to focus on fee earning tasks. The company has performed well throughout the pandemic and secured many new client relationships. This recent success in difficult circumstances provides the management with the confidence to recruit a capable and experienced office administrator/manager. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can bring the relevant skills, an experienced outlook and methodical approach to the company to build and develop a robust office management system that will aid further growth.
This is a customer facing position, so a professional manner and excellent communications skills are essential. This role will suit someone with good organisational skills and may appeal to someone seeking a rewarding part time job without the need to commit to a full-time position.
An appetite for success, an agile mind and proven success in previous roles are more important to us than formal qualifications.
Experience working as a Personal Assistant, Office Manager and working in a busy professional services environment with some experience in marketing would all be of interest to us.
Whilst initially a part-time appointment, there are opportunities for the right candidate to develop the role by taking on additional responsibilities, with the role becoming full time in the future.
Pay scale, working hours and holidays are all negotiable depending on the right candidate.
