Finance Assistant- part time circa 20 hours
Location: Astley, Manchester
Salary: up to GBP22,000 pro rata

We are looking to recruit a part-time Finance Assistant to join a business based in Astley. This is a rewarding role, with a company that returns your loyalty and values your hard work and rewards your performance.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• calculate and produce accurate data in an efficient, organised and timely manner on a daily basis in addition to:
• Checking and posting purchase invoices
• Analysis of queries and dealing with any miscellaneous invoices
• Processing cash book functions and reconciling
• Month end reconciliation
• Providing cover the finance team when required
• General day to day administrative duties

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accounts role, an understanding of processes and finance systems. You will have a numeric mind-set, be computer literate with a good working knowledge of all Microsoft packages, strong analytical skills and be able to work within a team environment. Organisation and the ability to meet weekly deadlines is essential.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced finance assistant who is looking for reduced hours.
