Evolving within a dynamic Advertising Sales & Brand Partnerships team you will play both an active and supportive team role working with global brands and agencies on international campaigns across the worldwide Discovery portfolio

 

 


Responsibilities
 

You will work in coordination with the Sales Director and sales team to support the development of strategic brand partnerships and solutions with global clients and agencies to contribute towards annual advertising sales revenue across the portfolio including spot sales, sponsorship, branded content, on-ground, co-marketing and multi-media brand communications

 

  • You will play a supportive role in the delivery of international team revenue objectives, working across multi-platform TV, web, app and social media opportunities, through advertising, content creation & on-ground activation
  • Working with the Sales Director and sales team, you will support the sales process from prospecting through to deal implementation and securing repeat client investment
  • You will be responsible for managing and assisting the successful coordination of client partnerships, including research, generating ideas, problem-solving, building pitch and analyses materials, planning campaign activity, booking, implementing, monitoring and reporting performances directly with clients, agencies and vendors
  • Develop strong relationships and maintain regular contact with all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team and wider network, including financial reporting, campaign status, regular update reports and related materials
  • Acquire comprehensive understanding and ongoing knowledge of the global Discovery brand portfolio, sales rationale and evolving developments
  • Responsibility for any other ad-hoc duties required by the Sales Director, across the sales team and global Discovery network

  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • You will have experience of working across international cultures and be passionate about media and sport/entertainment
