Financial Controller
Part time - 2/3 days per week (2 days in the office and 1 day WFH)

Are you a strong man manager, within the Finance sector but wishing to have a better balance of life to suit you?
Our client, a growing company are searching to add to their team with a Finance Controller, to work 2/3 days (2 days office based and 1 day WFH). Our client have doubled in their size and will continue to grow their business YOY. They are a specialist construction business, who have a great working culture and value their staff.
There are 2 elements to this position, one element of this role is that you will be required to manage 2 members of staff: a Finance Manager and an Office Apprentice. This is a great opportunity if you are passionate about developing staff and their career journeys. Your role as their manager, will be to ensure that they are developed / coached to ensure that their tasks are completed in line with deadlines and client / company expectations.
The 2nd element of this position, is the financial aspect and managing all parts related to our clients accounts. Your duties will encompass the following:
- Managing and overseeing Credit Control
- Management Accounts
- Cashflow
- Profit and Loss reporting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Forecasting
- HMRC regulations
- Pensions
To apply for this role, you must have the following skills / experience :
- Qualified or QBE
- Strong management experience
- Sage Line 50 - hands on knowledge
- Strong IT skills,including Excel
- Proactive and coaching mindset
- Committed and focused outlook
- Positive and calm outlook
