Scheme Cleaner - Part Time

Peterborough - various retirement housing schemes across the area

GBP9.50 per hour

• The post is 26 hours per week, working variable hours Monday to Friday

• You will be cleaning in various retirement housing schemes across Peterborough

• You will form part of a small team and will work closely with other team members in order to deliver a high standard cleaning service.

• You will be assisting on general cleaning tasks as well as deep cleaning projects.

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all areas of the building to the agreed standards, whilst adhering to the Health & Safety requirements

• Operation of a scheduled cleaning maintenance programme, daily, weekly, monthly, annually

• Assisting with the layout of equipment for special events

• Reporting to the Supervisor or Manager of damage to fittings, fabric of the buildings or equipment

• Advising the Supervisor or Manager of cleaning materials stock

• Ensuring up to date knowledge of and adhering to all policies and procedures

• The post will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service Check

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a driving licence

• Previous cleaning experience

• Must have good attention to detail

• Be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a strong work ethic

• Must be reliable, trustworthy, friendly and approachable

• You must have a basic/good understanding of both written and verbal English communication skills to fulfil the required duties
