Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client based in Glenrothes for a part time temporary Accounts Assistant job, paying GBP11 to GBP13 per hour depending on experience. This is a long term temporary role for at least 3 months but could potentially go permanent for the right person. Working 20 hours a week in the office with flexibility as to when you work, this is an excellent opportunity for a part time Finance professional.

Your new role

You will complete a variety of financial duties to assist the Financial Controller. Focusing on end to end purchase ledger & sales ledger, bank reconciliations, posting journals and transactional processing.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant who is comfortable in particular with end to end purchase ledger. To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have a proactive and problem solving mindset, good time management skills and excellent attention to detail. Proficient Excel Skills are essential for this function.
