Axon Moore have an exclusive opportunity to work as Interim Finance Manager on a FTC basis with a High Growth, PE backed, multi-site organisation with a Liverpool Head office.
The company started out with one site in Liverpool circa 10 years ago, nowadays, they have grown to become a national business with six sites, employees and over 15,000 regular customers. They have ambitious plans for the next few years and are inspired to keep getting bigger and better.
As Interim Finance Manager you will report into the Commercial Financial Controller and be actively involved in business partnering with stakeholders throughout the business to provide accurate and timely management reporting services to the business.
Duties:
Sole ownership of the production of the monthly management accounts (P&L, BS, CF)
Prepare and post monthly journals
Business partnering with both site and operational teams regarding processes and reporting
Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
VAT returns
HMRC reporting
Annual audit - produce required schedules, act as first point of contact during fieldwork
Support the CFC during the quarterly forecast and annual budget process
Line management of the Accounts Assistant
Weekly payment run approval and oversight of the creditors and debtors ledgers
Person Specification:
ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
Experienced in fast-paced, preferably multisite business
Intermediate to advanced Excel
Experience in Sage 50 would be beneficial
