Interim - Part-Time Finance Manager

The Finance Manager role is part of the finance team, reporting into the Commercial Financial Controller and involves business partnering with stakeholders throughout the business to provide accurate and timely management reporting services to the business.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Sole ownership of the production of the monthly management accounts (P&L, BS, CF)
  • Prepare and post monthly journals required (eg accruals, prepayments)
  • Business partnering with both site and operational teams regarding processes and reporting
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • HMRC reporting
  • Annual audit - produce required schedules, act as first point of contact during fieldwork
  • Support the CFC during the quarterly forecast and annual budget process
  • Line management of the Accounts Assistant
  • Weekly payment run approval and oversight of the creditors and debtors ledgers


The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
  • Experienced in working to deadlines in a fast-paced, preferably multisite business
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise, multitask and be a team player
  • Possess excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Sage 50 would be beneficial.
